Morph – not just a chair for grown ups

I’m not sure what I love best about these chairs – the interchangeable coloured pads for instant decorating flair or the fact that the chair comes in kid and grown-up sizes for a completely coordinated look.

Designed by German duo Formstelle, the perfectly simple and thoroughly modern Morph chair was released in 2009. Those that love the Morph’s smooth profile will be thrilled to know that it is now available in a kiddie size.

The Morph Kid is clearly not an ordinary child’s chair – it has a solid wood frame and a light, molded wood seat and, as I can’t say it better than the designers themselves, “the sculpturally formed subframe conveys the interplay between stability and dynamism”. Exactly.
