Moochies, the phone watch for monitoring the safety and location of your child

Ever lost your child? You might have been at the supermarket, a crowded beach or an event where there were a lot of people about. It is an awful feeling, the panic that rapidly overcomes you. And is why I never judge that parent who runs screaming through a crowd – it is an awful sensation.

For ultimate peace of mind a Moochie Phone might just be the thing to take the edge out of your next family outing. The Moochie actually looks more like a watch than a phone, but it is actually both these and a GPS tracker.

How does it work?

Simply insert a PAYG sim card into the Moochie Phone, install the dedicated app onto your phone and voila, pair the two devices. You will then be able to talk to and track your child’s movements – which appear as an icon on a Google-style map. Your child can also call two numbers, which you assign, from their Moochie. Up to ten phone numbers, pre-approved by you, can call your child. There is even an SOS button, which sends you a pre-recorded message if they are in trouble.

The device also allows you to monitor more than one child through the same app and you can also designate ‘safe zone’ – places such as home, school and daycare. If they leave these areas, you get an instant alert via the Moochies app. Clever.

The Moochie Phone comes in five colours and retails for £79.99 and is available directly via the Moochies online shop.

So mooch on over and check it out why don’t you.
