Mod and traditional unite in Ani & Trio bedding

I find that bedding invariably sets the mood for an entire bedroom. Whether your taste is traditional or contemporary, retro or whimsical, one fact always remains the same: finding creative, distinctive, timeless yet playful bedding for our children can be quite a massive undertaking. I have faced the eternal conundrum many times before – do I go for quality or design? Well, I’d love to have both.

Thankfully, the Australian children’s bedding company Ani & Trio are on the same wavelength. Designing striking quilts, blankets, sheets and pillows is the focus of the sprouting small business. Their design aesthetic is a modern take on the classic patchwork quilt, exuding quality and craftmanship. After seeing the bedding in person at the recent Mathilda’s Market in Brisbane, I can say without a doubt that the workmanship is superb and the creations stunningly beautiful.

Ani & Trio’s four new collections fuse traditional ginghams with groovy polka dots and 70s flower prints. My favourite collection is ‘Good Morning Birdie’ which features a gorgeous birdie fabric mixed with a bright red and muted green. Fantastic for a chic nursery! All collections are available for cots or single beds with full size and mini quilts on offer. The adorable mini quilts are destined to be cherished blankies for a long time to come.

Go to Bubba Bling to view and purchase from the entire range. Prices start at $29.95 plus postage.
