What do you get when a couple of kids-at-heart design clothes for actual kids? You get Minimnt, some of the most vibrant patterns on gorgeous garments made for running around, wreaking havoc and cuddling.
Sydney-based wife and husband team, Ash and Matt are the lovely folk behind Minimnt, and they’ve poured joy, energy and passion for beautifully made clothes into each Minimnt piece.
Ash cut her design teeth at Bonds, but longed to have her own company where she could design and oversee production. Minimnt gives her the freedom to create clothes exactly to her vision, and every garment is ethically made in Australia. The result is a collection for kids aged three to seven that hits the perfect balance between fun and cool.
There are slouchy, skinny harem joggers ($59) printed with sly grinning crocs and sharks, monochromatic hoodies with bold black crosses, basic long sleeved tees in a rainbow of delicious hues. Dresses ($59) are loose with dropped waists and kicky little skirts. For something to wear with jeans, try the Little Girl Tee ($49), a comfy cotton tee with the tiniest, sweetest peplum we’ve ever seen.
The boldest piece are the cropped, skinny, striped overalls ($79). Perfectly paired with a turquoise tee, the kind of awesome kid who loves these overalls is the sort of kid we want to know.
Minimnt’s first collection is online and shipping in Australia is $8.
