Mila Kunis’ daughter thinks getting “hair and makeup” is her mum’s actual job

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher

Mila Kunis just appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, where basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal stepped into the hosting seat to grill her on all things parenting and beyond.

“No clue”

The A Bad Moms Christmas star is married to fellow actor Ashton Kutcher, and the pair have two children together – three-year-old daughter Wyatt and almost one-year-old son Dimitri.

When Shaq quizzed Mila on how her kids deal with their mum’s fame and success, she implied that the terms “unphased” and “disinterested” might be apt descriptors.

“My daughter has no clue what I do for a living,” she said, adding that Wyatt seems to think “mommy gets hair and makeup for a living” because all that she sees of her work are wardrobe trailers on movie sets.

“I don’t even know how to explain to her what I do for a living,” Mila admitted. “I don’t know when she’s going to see any of my movies because none of them are okay. None of them! I clearly don’t make movies for children,” she laughed.

“I’m not anti-gifts”

Shaq also dug a little deeper into the no-gifts policy she and Ashton are implementing with their kids this Christmas, and Mila insisted they’re not totally Scrooge-ing out – rather, it’s all about balance.

“I’m not anti-gifts. I just don’t over-gift my child. I give them presents!’ she explained. “It’s just that they get so many wonderful gifts from my family and my husband’s family that he and I give her literally one present.”

Mila noted her youngest child is super-easy to please, whatever the season.

“My son is 11 months old, so he gets a boob, and he’s fine.”

Telephone Tammy

Shaq remained unconvinced, playing a vintage Telephone Tammy toy commercial Mila starred in as a child and teasing that the doll might be the perfect present for Wyatt.

Mila laughed through the ad and revealed that, for one family member, the commercial was as good as fame gets.

“My grandfather, who is 94 and awesome, will tell everybody, ‘I knew my granddaughter was going to make it after her Telephone Tammy commercial,” Mila giggled. “Like to this day … that was the height of my career.”
