Argentinian and UK media outlets are reporting that Michael Bublé and Luisana Lopilato’s 3-year-old son Noah will take a break from his ongoing treatment for cancer over Christmas, and spend some time at home.
Taking a break
Apparently the family usually spend the festive season in their Vancouver home, but this year will gather with family and friends in Los Angeles, closer to where Noah is being treated for liver cancer.
Bublé made a personal statement about Noah’s diagnosis on November 5th.
“We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US. We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children. Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well.”
“At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”
Bublé and wife Luisa then understandably stepped out of the social media spotlight to concentrate on the much more important task of supporting their little boy through this super-challenging time.
Bublé and Lopilato have two children, 3-year-old Noah and 9-month-old Elias.
It’s hard to imagine how difficult things must be for this family right now, but it’s obvious that everyone’s rallying their thoughts, prayers and actions to support Noah as much as possible.
Noah’s aunt Brandee Bublé took to Instagram recently to share the triumphant news that she had secured her nephew a highly sought-after Hatchimal for Christmas.
“Spent hours looking at every possible store that sold toys in Vancouver, got on waiting lists, only to find one on Craigslist, an hour away from where we live & twice the price…but we got Noah the Hatchimal that I promised him. Tia & Tio pulled through! And I think Mike may be more excited than he is!” Brandee posted.

Show of support
It’s not only family and friends rallying behind Michael, Luisa, Noah and Elias. Fans have inundated the Bublé’s with supportive messages and are snapping up his 2011-released Christmas album in unprecedented quantities too.
Here’s hoping that Noah responds speedily to his treatment and this family have much happier days ahead, very soon.
