Merino Kids launches clothing and organic skincare

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Amie Nilsson (below), founder of Merino Kids. "When I first started Merino Kids back in 2003, it was born out of necessity for my first daughter Lillybelle. As a mother researching the availability of baby, infant and toddler sleepwear products, I was shocked at the number of synthetic products that were flooding the market."

Last year, we mentioned the Cocooi and Go Go Bags on Babyology and now Merino Kids have just launched playwear, which you can see pictured above. Made from 100 per cent merino, the new mix and match playwear range has been designed for comfort and a perfect fit during active play time.

We love the new Hum Organic Skinwear range, designed for newborn to 12 months. They also have lovely products for Mum, just in time for Mothers Day! The range includes a moisturiser with sunscreen, a soft creamy cleanser, massage oil and botty balm. For Mum there are luxurious bath salts and a shea butter which have been created to gently nurture the skin (I have tested these and they are lovely!)

Hum Baby clothing includes a variety of pure cotton and merino essential items including all over body suits, short suits, pants, singlets and long sleeve tops.

With so many new products in the Merino Kids range, we look forward to following their progress and reporting back on other new additions in the future.
