When I was pregnant, I spent hours trawling the internet to find good maternity dresses. I was nauseous and heavy and my back hurt, and I just wanted something reasonably priced that made me feel good.
It didn’t even occur to me to look at Marks & Spencer, so when I recently saw the comfortable and good looking dresses they have, I felt like kicking my pregnant self (luckily my ankles are much smaller now than they were then, so I could manage a well aimed kick. It’s just a shame I don’t have the time travel part worked out.)
I’m a big fan of stripes, so one of my favourite dress options is the Maternity Striped Dress, which at $59, is a funky addition to your maternity wardrobe.
We also love the Maternity Ribbed Dress, which is a nice base for winter layering. With free delivery to Australia over $50, the dress is perfectly priced at $49. Not only do you get a great dress, but you’re also compelled to add some cute baby clothes to your basket to qualify for free shipping (let’s just pretend to ourselves we didn’t see that shipping is only $3-$5 anyway).
Or for another comfortable and classy layering option (and those baby clothes) you might like the Maternity Ribbed Short Sleeve Dress, also at $49. Layer it over long sleeves and leggings and voila, winter sorted.
These dresses and other great affordable maternity wear options are available from Marks & Spencer.
