Maravilla – children’s clothing made using Mexican traditions

There’s only one way to keep history truly alive, and that’s to make it useful in our modern lives. That includes using traditional ways to create clothing. This Mexican brand has found a way to balance contemporary clothing and artisan craftsmanship in its beautiful children’s collection.

The clothing in the Maravilla range is handmade by female artisans in three regions of Mexico – where the company has developed a program aimed at improving the lives of its employees.

The materials used in the clothing include organic cotton and natural wool, and while the clothing is beautiful it’s also easy for children to put on and play in.

Some of the pieces feature hand embroidery, and every piece speaks volumes about this brand which takes great pride in producing stunning clothing for kids.

The knits certainly caught our eye, particularly as we’re still shivering through winter. The jumpers and cardigans cost around €70, and the adorable cape is €85 (although it is currently on sale). Place orders at Maravilla, and shipping to Australia is available.
