The newest and most coveted piece of pram machinery right now is most definitely the Mamas & Papas Mylo pram. Just recently unveiled to the world at the German trade show Kind + Jugend in Cologne, the Mylo pram looks to be a show stopper.
Featuring all of the functions we parents now demand from prams: a bassinet for newborns on the pram or on a stand for at home, a reversible seat unit so baby can see you or face out and an optional car seat travel system, where compatible car seats can slot in and out of the pram frame easily. Add to that a pram that is a dream to push and manoeuvre, easy push button mechanism for folding and accessories that use magnet technology and we’ve got a winner.
I’m a bit of a pram lover and am always scouting out what others are pushing (I’ve even been known to approach people and gush over their prams-much to my husband’s dismay!). The remarkable thing about the Mylo is that it doesn’t remind me of any other pram designs on the market today, like I find so many others to be. Its black streamlined frame and wheels are beautiful with a real contemporary feel and being able to choose different fabric colours for the pram is the icing on the cake!
The Mylo is not yet available for sale and Mamas & Papas are remaining tight-lipped on any information regarding prices and release dates. We’ll of course keep you updated but you can also sign up on the waiting list at the Mamas & Papas website.
