The Spare Parts Puppet Theatre group is coming to Monkey Baa Theatre Company in Sydney this school holidays with a brilliant adaptation of Antoine de Saint Exupéry’s classic book, The Little Prince.
A short but epic story of adventure, curiosity and the human condition, The Little Prince will capture imaginations and inspire audiences to think about the world around them.
Spare Parts Puppet Theatre will perform the show with exquisitely carved wooden puppets that interact with the story’s narrator, a crashed aeroplane pilot.
If improv is your cup of tea, Monkey Baa Theatre is also hosting Random Musical, a wild and spontaneous show by Cre8tion. Audience members participate by writing down their names and favourite words to inspire the titles and plots of musicals, and if they’re up to it, play characters or creatures, or make sound effects.
The Little Prince will be showing at Monkey Baa Theatre Company from 5 to 9 July, 2016 and Random Musical from 12 to 16 July, 2016, both at 10:30am and 12:30pm. Tickets are $29 per person or $104 for a family of four.
