Little Green Room – contemporary, eco-friendly cubby houses for kids

playcube5

You’ve got to love an Australian company forging new frontiers in children’s play. These simple, stylish cubes create play spaces for kids inside or out – and they look amazing to boot.

Little Green Room has just launched its Play Cubes and we think they’re pretty amazing! They look a little space age, and kids will lap them up because they are simple enough to be used as anything a child can imagine.

There are two different types of PlayCubes, one for indoors and one for outdoors. The PlayCube Plywood comes flat packed and slots together in less than a minute – so the kids won’t be bugging you to hurry up and finish! It also disassembles with ease, so if you don’t have a lot of room at your place, it can brought out on rainy days. It’s made from high-quality, eco-friendly plywood and includes a servery counter, two seats and a blackboard. It costs $1550 delivered flat packed.

The PlayCube All Weather has proved so popular since its launch that it’s already sold out. It’s the same as the indoor model, but made from recycled plastic sheets called Paspanel. It comes with all the extras of the plywood version. I think this PlayCube looks incredible and would make such an interesting addition to a backyard. You can register your interest in a PlayCube All Weather, which comes in nine colours, at Little Green Room.
