We’re always on the lookout for clothing that kids can play in while still looking fantastic. You’re sure to love the strong designs of this beautiful, organic range.

We told you about organic Swiss children’s clothing company L’asticot four years ago when they first landed in Australia, so it’s time for an update on what’s going on. L’asticot has a new range out, and if you love Nordic style, it’s well worth a look. By their own estimation, L’asticot have a style “halfway between French classicism and Nordic extravaganza” – but all tags aside, what they really have is an eye for striking and comfortable clothing that manages to be both modern and classic at the same time.

By printing and manufacturing all their fabrics themselves, L’asticot control the chain of production on all their gear, and you won’t see these striking motifs in any other kids’ clothing line. They certainly get the tick of approval as far as sustainability is concerned, having been awarded more certifications than I even knew existed for their production process. Plenty of the pieces are unisex too, which I always consider an added plus in a growing family. The designs are bright, bold and fun, and the clothing is organic cotton and deliciously comfortable. What more could you ask for?

You can buy the L’asticot range directly at their online shop, or locally in Australia at Bink Kids.
