What can’t the stylishly bobbed former Bingle do?! Entrepreneur and model Lara Worthington just uploaded this impressive flat-pack-themed clip to Instagram, and it’s frankly got us questioning our skills with an Allen key.
Lara’s weaving a magical and speedy spell on this Scandi-inspired cot and we’re watching and learning with the clip on a mesmerising loop.
Not only does the (admittedly wildly sped-up clip) reveal the mum-of-two knows exactly what she’s doing when it comes to converting flat-pack to actual useful thing, she managed to pull the whole thing off with an unexpected tool.
“I’m using a toy hammer,” Lara revealed – we imagine triumphantly – in the comments section of the posts. We predict further videos where Lara assembles furniture with other surprising objects – overripe bananas, chopsticks and fidget spinners could rank well.
It seems that Lara’s followers were as impressed with her construction prowess as we were, toy hammer or not.
“You have an IKEA Phd,” one fan wrote, with obvious admiration.
“Flat-pack queen,” another bowed-down.
“Great work, takes me so long to do any flat-pack usually ends in tears lol,” someone else posted and we feel tearily the same and want her to sit next to us at lunch.
Can we fix it?
Lara is mum to two little boys – two-year-old Rocket and one-year-old Racer – with actor husband Sam Worthington.
Before Sam shot to fame he was a bricklayer, so between Lara’s skills and his, if the Hollywood thing doesn’t work out, they’ve got the awesome option of a construction industry side-gig.
If you pause the clip at the right bits (like a creepy Bingle-baby stalker), you’ll see bonus pop-ups from her kiddos in the midst of the cot magic, too.
We have it on good authority that she’s putting together a cot from genius nursery company Bloom, in case you were wondering.
