Wardrobe basics, high quality fabric, simple designs and effortless style, perfect for layering as well as über-trendy and comfortable. Sorry adults, this brand only makes clothes for zero to twelve-year-olds.
Kidscase is the small independent Dutch company that is responsible for these little hipster threads. Swoon much? They started selling their wares in local boutiques a decade ago and now you can find them from Amsterdam to London, Tokyo and New York.
Of course, Kidscase is both environmentally and ethically sound; seventy per cent of their clothing is made of organic cotton and more than half is certified as being made under humane working conditions. There is some great stuff for the difficult-to-dress tween age as well as all the gorgeous baby and children’s fashion. The Orange Philly Dress (€65) and Winter Knee High Socks (€12.50) are super cute in the girl’s range and for babies I can’t go past the Philly Suit (€67.50) or the Curtis suit (€35).
For now we will just have to swoon from here as Australia isn’t on their list of international stockists, but for the more eager purchaser there are ways and means. Excuse me while I message my Irish cousin to let her know she needs to forward a package to me… it’s amazing what you can get people to do for a packet of Tim Tams.
