True to our word, we’re covering the Life Instyle trade show in a different way this year! Historically we have posted day by day, with an assortment of goodies in one post per day. This year we’ve categorised our editorial, to give you one great big sweet hit of a certain type of product, as well as some out of the ordinary posts where we make special mention of particular brands who have shown the most eye-catching innovations.
We’re beginning the series with stationery, of which there was a plethora of beautiful wares. This reformed stationery junkie began to twitch slightly as the familiar longing and urge to possess all things papery returned with a vengeance.
A real trailblazer at this year’s show was undoubtedly Pigeonhole, which showcased such an array of fine wares that Mandi and I sat exclaiming about them for ages! It sure helps that they have one the friendliest teams around, who are so obviously passionate and dedicated to incredible design and beautiful things. We’re very amicable and design-obsessed ourselves so we get along famously! Here’s what they had:
Super-nice notebooks and cards.
Next up is the old world charm of Telegram. Check out the divine tape!
Printspace showcased retro prints to die for. We love the birth prints and quaint nursery prints which remind us of our vintage Golden Books!
Pip & Maude had a delightful patchwork display which provided a pretty backdrop for the beautiful cards. They are made in Bali and support a community of women.
