Kids inSTYLE Day Two

I just got back from a full day at Melbourne’s kids inSTYLE trade show. After nine hours surrounded by the latest kids and homeware products, I have so many exciting things to share with you.

Some of these products aren’t available yet, but will be hitting stores over the next few months. Keep a lookout!

These first few photos are all from one exhibitor, I could have taken many more photos and showcased more of their range but these are some of my favourites:

I love these magnet writing boards which would be a great addition to any playroom, kitchen or study and has so many uses including a shopping list, weekly schedules, birthday party invitations and of course photos just to name a few. The markers are available in white/black and blue. They are all made in Sweden and available in Australia from Bookbinders.

Whitelines is such a simple yet unique concept that grabbed my attention immediately (not to mention the orange and white packaging, a terrific colour combination for packaging). Whitelines is writing paper to help promote creativity and allow no visual interference between the lines of regular paper and the pen colour. It makes your sketches, drawings and text stand out on a page without being confined to strict lines. Whitelines is available from Tick Design in Melbourne.

Bob’s Your Uncle is a really innovative brand from the USA. One of my favourite items in the range is the Dinosaur Soup recipe book that are recipes written by kids. Above is a photo of the paper placemats that also have kids recipes written on each one. Check with Tick Design for local stockists.

I was really excited to see one of our favourite brands, Two Little Boys coming to Australia. We mentioned some of the range back in March and Lark are going to be distributing these products. Check their website for stockists. I have always loved the IOU cards as well as the ‘something to keep you happy’ books.

This mt masking tape is also new from Lark and is just gorgeous. I can’t wait to wrap presents in thick white or black paper and decorate with these rolls of tape. It’s similar to another masking tape we recently looked at called Happytape.
