Do you ever have that moment when shopping for children’s clothes when you wonder why they don’t make the clothing in adult sizes? That was my immediate reaction when I saw this lovely range.
Los Angeles-based OMAMImini make some seriously nice gear. I’m a bit of a jersey and stretch knit lover myself, and this range represents everything I love about stretch knits for kids – it’s oh so soft, it looks deliriously comfortable, and it’s easy to wear and to care for.
Anyone who has ever bought a cheap t-shirt that didn’t survive its first wash knows the importance of quality in children’s clothing, and this is where OMAMImini are ahead of the pack. With a range that is full of tunics, shorts, skirts and rompers, they haven’t sacrificed quality or style for comfort.
The clothing is full of bright blocks of colour, cute repeating motifs, and great little touches in co-ordinating trims and cuffs. It perfectly captures OMAMImini’s philosophy that clothing should be interesting as well as comfortable. With such a large range, of course prices vary, but you’ll find most pieces are between US$25-$50.
