It’s time to get things started… with Muppets t-shirts!

There is no doubt that the newest Muppets movie, due to hit Australian screens in January, will be huge. I’m quite certain of this because I saw the trailer at the movies last week – every parent in the cinema was laughing. Every parent was gently nudging the kid next to them and saying “Yeah, we can see that one.” Every parent was remembering how much they loved the Muppets when they were little.

With a blockbuster movie comes merchandise and The Muppets  is a Disney movie so we can be quite sure there will be no shortage of Muppet desirables. Get in early and pick up some sensational, retro-inspired Muppet t-shirts from Threadless.

The Threadless Muppet t-shirt designs are so clever and so far from what you’d expect in traditional movie merchandise, that you’ll struggle to choose just one – thankfully you can deck out the family with twenty-three different designs for adults and eleven designs for kids.My picks are the gorgeous Muppet Alphabet, the sweet Together Reaching for the Star design and the Reunion Tour t-shirt. Parents will appreciate the tongue-in-cheek Muppetbook design (Kermit’s play on Facebook) and That’s Not a Pocket, featuring Statler and Waldorf (the two cranky old guys who sit in the balcony seats).

Muppets t-shirts are US$20 for kids styles and between US$20 and US$24 for adults. Threadless ships internationally.
