Is it just me, or are you feeling a little jaded this election? Well there are a couple of things to brighten the lead up to the 2013 federal election.
First up, from Australian design crew Ozzilla, comes the Federal Election Finger Puppets. Developed to mobilise future voters, the free printable puppets feature the major players – Labor Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, Liberal leader Tony Abbott and The Greens’ Christine Milne. Of course, there’s plenty of fun to be had for adults who may like to indulge in their own game of political puppetry.
The Federal Election Finger Puppets are free to download from Ozzilla – simply print and you’re ready to explain the nitty-gritty of the left and right, or the prime minister and the opposition. Ozzilla is also known for creating the Australian ABC Wall Frieze and the beautiful Chirp hanging mobile.
Secondly, pop over to the Election Sausage Sizzle Map, a concept so brilliant I can scarcely believe it’s not front page news. Enter your postcode and the Election Sausage Sizzle Map will tell you what’s happening at your local polling booth this coming Saturday (September 7) – cake stalls, bacon and egg rolls, sausage sizzles and more. A snag in bread is the best part of election day, right?!
