It’s dad’s turn to dress the triplets and toddler – but is he faster than mum?

A mum of four’s supermum effort to get her toddler and triplets ready for bed in record time has already been beaten – by dad. We watched in awe at her octopus-like arms and cheerful demeanour, but now her partner has done one better. He’s done it faster.

The YouTube video of a mum with triplets… and a toddler! went viral, but now the dad has upped the ante, making a video of his own showing how he can get his four children dressed in less time than it takes their mum to do the same.

The time-lapse video of Corrie-Lynn White’s amusing bedtime routine with her children shows she can do it in two minutes and 13 seconds. But dad Dan Gibson challenged Corrie-Lynn to a little healthy competition and managed to get Emily and triplets Levi, Olivia and Jackson rugged up and ready in only two minutes.

Dan’s video, posted to the couple’s The Baby Gang Facebook page, has now also sent the internet into a spin, viewed more than three million times.

He even has time for the ‘lightning bolt’ champion pose, but has revealed he did a little sneaky preparation.

“This dad works smart, not hard,” he says, adding “zippers for the win!”. Dan cleverly made sure the kids’ sleepwear didn’t have any tricky buttons or press studs for a more streamlined process. Do you think he makes it look easy? Watch here:

Triplets plus a toddler are more than a handful, so spare a thought for the couple who adopted triplets, then fell pregnant with twins, all born only seven months apart.
