I would hate to spend large sums of cash on a doll’s house only to have it played with for a couple of weeks and then abandoned. So why not buy a cardboard one that can be put out for recycling once your kids have had their fun?
Dutch company Villa Carton takes recycling to a new level, with everything from cardboard costumes and colouring books to the awesome catdboard dollhouse and cardboard cubby house castle for fairytale fun.
The castle is a play house featuring life-size colouring page interiors that stands 134cm high when built. The dollhouse is also for colouring and stands 59cm high, 45cm wide and 40cm deep. Each item can only be built once.
If this grabs your attention, have a look at some other cardboard toys we’ve mentioned before.
It opens up the imagination to a whole load of new possibilities doesn’t it? I’m almost tempted to make one myself. If you manage to make your own, we’d love to know about it!
These have just arrived in Australia at Ball & Skittle. Costumes start at $33 and the castle is $100.
