Computer games seem to develop in big leaps. Little did I know all those years ago when I was marvelling at the pixelated graphics of my ‘Rescue Helicopter Game Watch’ (it was 1982) that I would be one day dancing along to the seemingly intuitive Wii Just Dance. Get ready for the latest – Sifteo.
Sifteo is set to change the face of gaming all over again. For a start, it’s not a gaming system that you plug into your television. Instead, it’s a set of cubes that work with your computer and it’s the kind of toy that needs to be seen to be believed. To play the various games, you have to move the cubes around and place them next to each other. That might sound fairly basic but check out the video clip below to see just how cool the Sifteo system is.
The Sifteo was only released in September and although it is yet to hit Australian retailers, you can be sure it won’t be far away. A starter pack of three Sifteo cubes and a charging dock is approximately US$149. Extra cubes to enhance your games are available for US$45 each.
