Singer Pharrell Williams and his wife, designer Helen Lasichanh have gone from trio to family of six in one fell swoop, welcoming three new babies to their gang.
“Happy and healthy”
The couple were already parents to 8-year-old Rocket and a rep for the pair announced the exciting news overnight.
“Pharrell, Helen and Rocket Williams have welcomed triplets. The family is happy and healthy!” the statement said.
Other details are scant, no word yet on the gender/s or names of the new kiddos.
“Humility and loyalty”
Pharrell told Oprah he and Helen took inspiration for Rocket’s name from Stevie Wonder, Elton John and Herbie Hancock.
The dad-of-four has previously said he is determined to raise his kids to be humble and sincere.
“Humility and loyalty, I feel like those two things are the ultimate currency,” Pharrell told Entertainment Tonight.
“I just try to push my son to be humble. He’s really talented, he’s really smart and bright, but I want him to be humble with the things that he does so all those other things will shine on their own. He gets that.”
Pharrell and Helen married in 2013, after many years together. They’d already welcomed Rocket to the family in 2008.
Pharrell’s career has spanned global hits (Happy, Blurred Lines), TV hosting (The Voice) and most recently a producer role on the highly acclaimed film, Hidden Figures.
Helen has an established career as a model and fashion designer.
Huge congratulations Lasichanh-Williams gang on your new bunch of babies!
