This super funny ‘Q & A’ spotted on an obstetrician’s office wall rewrites the answers to pregnancy’s biggest questions.
Waiting room reading
Ever been kind of nervous about asking your obstetrician some personal pregnancy questions? Turns out you don’t need to worry – they’ve probably heard the same questions over and over (and over) again. And one obstetrician decided to turn those questions on their head with some, well, unusual answers.
Below is the ‘Pregnancy Q & A’ they posted on their waiting room wall. A Reddit user named YellowWoodenTable spotted it and shared the sign on Reddit’s Baby Bumps thread. At first glance, the questions are pretty stock standard, like the much-asked “Should I have a baby after 35?” (Answer: “No, 35 children is enough”).
Best OB ever
Whoever this legendary OB is, we salute you. Sitting around in a waiting room when you’re heavily pregnant is the exact moment you need a little pick-me-up. And the odd reality check never hurt any expecting mother – like when you can expect your baby to move. (Answer: “With any luck, right after he finishes college.”)
Naturally, you should definitely be asking your doctor the big, serious, questions. But for now we thank this comedic genius for injecting some fun into the waiting room.
