Have a ball with knit poufs

It’s going to be really hard to sneak one of these into the house. When my husband asks “Is that new?”, I’ll hardly be able to pretend otherwise. Considering my strategy as you read.

Designer Cara Corey gives knitted pieces a modern edge with amazing hand-knitted poufs. I love them – they remind me of giant sea urchins!

The chunky, knitted texture of the poufs is perfect for warming up an ultra-modern or minimalist interior, plus they are practical. I’m sure kids would love a collection (and to play with them like giant marbles) but I’m angling for just one, as my new foot rest.

The knit poufs are available at Corey’s Etsy store, Mary Marie Knits. Prices begin at US$35 for a small pouf. Extra large poufs (a good size for kids) are US$98. Mary Marie Knits ships to Australia (all poufs are delivered unfilled).

She now fills her time with writing, completing a degree in genetics and taxiing her children around Melbourne to their various sporting commitments (not necessarily in that order).
