There seems to be no end to the beautiful baby crafts that can be found at Etsy. With a stack of adorable handmade goodies especially for bubbas, Down Home Amy is no exception.
Vancouver talent Amy has come up with some clever ways to modernise everyday baby accessories. Her range of natural wood soother or dummy clips are laser engraved with animal designs including this sweet panda.
The organic red-striped ribbon is 17.8 cm long with a yellow plastic snap at the end, so it’s long enough to attach to a baby’s bib, collar or car seat strap. They cost $20.93 (AUD).
Amy makes silk screened prints and sews them onto her adorable range of bibs. Drool bibs like the nautical themed one above start at $17.79 (AUD), while the larger bibs sell for $20.93 (AUD). This lovely polka-dot green and white bunny bib is my pick. Like many in Amy’s range, it’s unisex – meaning it’s a great gift for an expecting mum who doesn’t know the sex of her baby.
And if you are shopping for a gift, just post a note in your order and Amy will wrap it and include a blank gift tag.
Similar animal designs can be found on Amy’s snack pouches. Made of hemp organic and cotton and lined with your choice of black waterproof nylon or organic cotton, these pouches are a perfect way to store messy toddler snacks. And with the Velcro opening, little fingers can find their way into a snack pouch much easier than a lunchbox.
Down Home Amy also stocks fun fabric crowns (just send Amy your child’s head measurement first), magnets, wall hangings and burp clothes.
Amy makes some items to order, so you’ll need to allow five to seven days before shipping for those. International shipping is available.
