Green bags of many colours

The members of my mother’s group are fortunate enough to get ‘leave passes’ once a year for a weekend away together. As we arrive at the holiday destination we each unload an overnight bag and approximately ten green ‘green’ bags from our cars. Someone once remarked “What’s with all the green bags?!” Sure enough, it did appear that we had done all our packing in supermarket bags, but green bags are convenient and a good size, just not so nice to look at.

A couple of years ago there weren’t many alternatives to the green ‘green’ bag. That’s all changed. The ultra hip Flip & Tumble bag is convenient, a good size and looks oh-so-cool.

Made of rip-stop nylon with a clever little stretchy pocket so that the bag folds away into itself (to about the size of a peach), it is the bright colours that have won me. I’m thinking I might have to colour-code the kid’s activities – shades of blue for swimming, red and pink for the library and green for their footy kits, which leaves me to shop with the lemon, eggplant or brown collection.

Flip & Tumble bags are US$9 each or, if you buy more than seven, US$7 each. Flip& Tumble ship to Australia.
