A great new app for Peppa fans – Peppa Pig’s Golden Boots

With Peppa Pig the number one rating show for preschoolers in Australia, the chances are high that you have a fan in your household. Help your little one make the jump from viewing to interactive play with a new Peppa Pig app made especially for them.

Users can join Peppa on a day of adventures across land and into space to find her missing golden boots. Inspired by recent Peppa Pig Special, The Golden Boots, Peppa Pig’s Golden Boots app is sure to delight fans of the giggly little piggy.

Parents will appreciate the range of different activities that provide high sensory engagement and help develop early learning skills like creativity, concentration, fine motor skills and numeracy. The layout and format of the activities is quite intuitive and easy to navigate so kids quickly become independent in using the app for themselves.

Kids will love all the familiar locations, characters and scenarios like muddy puddles, Mrs Rabbit’s gift shop and the duck pond so they get their bearings right away and feel comfortable exploring and searching for Peppa’s missing golden boots. They will also love the progressive nature of the game with multiple activities and the added challenge of finding the missing boots. Each time they do, they get to open a surprise present.

When I tested out the app with my two boys (aged two and three), I was impressed with the opportunities for shared learning, communicating and problem solving throughout the game. We sat together and worked through the different activities, discussing strategies and creating stories about Peppa’s adventures. Space Adventures was far and away their favourite activity, but it also took a bit longer to master. This just provided all the more incentive to return to it again and again.

This video will tell you all you need to know and more:

Ideal for pre-schoolers, Peppa Pig’s Golden Boots is $4.99 from the Apple App Store for iOS devices and the Google Play Store for Android devices.
