A little bit of rain can’t keep a spirited kid down, especially when they’re wearing Gosoaky, some of the most stylish rain gear about.
Simple, beautiful, with a dose of stripes for good measure, Gosoaky’s rainwear is just the gear kids need to make the outdoors their playground, even when it buckets down.
Although it’s designed in the Netherlands, Gosoaky has thought about what kids around the world will need in their rain gear. In colder climates, the lined jackets (€100) will keep little ones dry and warm. In Australia, detach the liner from the jacket and pop it over a few layers. And for really soggy days, a pair of rain pants, or a onesie (€70), a cape and even a backpack sack would be perfect anywhere in the world.
The Gosoaky folks are people who have thought a lot about rain. We’d hazard a guess that they love rain, and it shows in the joyful yet minimalist designs.
Garments come in a muted, very of-the-moment khaki green, navy, pale pink, electric yellow or yellow and grey horizontal stripe. For girls, the jackets have an A-line silhouette and a high-low hem. For boys and girls, there are jackets with hoods with storm visors, cut boxy to fit plenty of layers underneath. The backpack sacks have black and white striped straps that add the perfect pop of pattern to the raglan sleeved jackets.
Stylish and sensible, all Gosoaky pieces are made of super tough fabric, have taped seams and waterproof zips.
Gosoaky is available online. At €24, shipping isn’t cheap, but you can fix that problem by buying multiple sizes to cover your kids for the next few years of rainy seasons.
