Give your toddler the key to the door

No, you’re not looking at a scene from Alice in Wonderland – it really is a little door within a door.

The Minjjoo children’s door is a small door within a normal size interior door. The Minjjoo gives children access to their own room – provided that two-year-olds don’t partake in teenage style door-slamming antics, this is the sweetest idea. Kids always like to feel grown-up whether it be turning on the tap for themselves or pushing the button at pedestrian lights and on that basis I’m sure the Minjjoo will have big appeal.

As an added feature, the Minjjoo has a waterproof white chalkboard-coating that can be drawn on with chalks or water soluble markers and easily wiped off again with a wet cloth.

The Minjjoo is the creation of German designers Johannes Marmon and Johannes Müller. They are priced from €595 but Minjjoo only ship within Europe at this stage.
