My stationery addiction started young. I vividly remember saving my pocket money for a trip to ‘Granny May’s Paper Shoppe’ which sold a huge range of scented erasers, pastel coloured felt-tip pens and, my favourite, stickers. The stickers were sold individually from big rolls and you would have thought we were buying a car it took so long to choose what we wanted. I’m not actually sure what we did with them, but do recall they featured in our journals and on our school books.
Needless to say, the Cox & Cox Sticker Kit would have thrilled the socks off me. The Sticker Kit turns practically anything into a sticker by way of special adhesive tape. Fabric, photographs or kids drawings can all be turned into a sticker. The nine-year-old in me is already thinking about the endless sticking possibilities while the mum part of me is thinking it’s a great way to personalise birthday cards and create envelope seals. In fact I’m sure it’s much like a label maker – you don’t realise just how much fun you can have until you get one.
