Hello Kitty has been gracing our comic books, shops and screens for more than forty years and she has made another special appearance, this time in the form of food.
The famous white cat has officially taken over the kitchen at Hello Kitty Chinese Cuisine where every single dish on the menu comes with something shaped like Hello Kitty.
And the kitty-inspired restaurant, located in Hong Kong, has some incredible photos to prove it!
According to their Facebook page, Hello Kitty Chinese Cuisine adheres to the “traditional taste of Chinese cuisine and healthy eating culture.”
However, the cat food isn’t just fun. It’s also natural, healthy and organic, designed by “chefs with 40 years of experience in Cantonese cuisine in Hong Kong and Japan”.
The restaurant produces colourful and exquisite Cantonese dim sum and everyday dishes. Kitty makes her way into dim sum, pancakes, muffins and even drinks.
They’ve got Fried Kitty.
And freshly steamed Kitty.
Or perhaps you would prefer Kitty served up in the form of chocolate balls? Well, they have those too.
