Frankie and Ava – children’s fashion that’s not afraid of rough play

unisex kids clothing

There is something awesome happening in the world of children’s fashion. Style conscious parents are no longer having to choose between clothes that are comfortable and clothes that are über-trendy for their children. All of a sudden, everywhere we turn there are soft knits, stretchy cotton and funky hand drawn illustrations adorning tiny clothes.

Frankie & Ava embodies this concept beautifully in their latest range of children’s and baby clothing. Primary colours and unisex designs; these are comfortable and practical items that are made to be played in and can be washed accordingly.

Perfect for winters at the beach, park trips and weekends away in the country, it’s tiny, relaxed, preppy fashion perfection. If there’s something a bit familiar about these clothes that you just can’t put you finger on, it may be because Frankie & Ava was created by Natasha Thomas, a former designer for Ralph Lauren Black Label along with other perfectly understated brands like Levis and Donna Karan.

The cute does come at a cost – that gorgeous cream knitted jacked you see above is US$132 – but postage to Australia is only US$14.
