Finally, a range of budget friendly kids glasses that reflect their style and personality!
Jonas Paul Eyewear is a family affair for founders Ben and Laura Harrison. Ben, a visual artist, took it upon himself to create eyewear solutions for his son Jonas and while conducting his research, discovered that children really lacked stylish, functional options in existing optical glasses.
Jonas Paul was diagnosed with Paul’s Anomaly, a rare disorder that means this little lad would be subject to many treatments and surgeries to improve his level of sight, after his birth in 2013. Ben has created a stylish kids range of on trend acetate eyewear frames for both girls and boys aged from four to twelve. All you need do is purchase a pair online (they have a handy virtual try on tool) and take them to your local optometrist to be fitted with your child’s prescription lenses.
It’s worth mentioning having a look at the Jonas Paul Eyewear Club option – it has a US$40 annual fee, but acts as insurance with benefits. If your child’s glasses break (and let’s face it, kids are rough) you are sent a replacement pair and membership gives you fifty percent off additional pairs should you want to add to their collection, plus other member only benefits.
A story close to my heart, with one of my own sons completely blind in one eye and two younger children lined up with optometrist appointment, I’ll be sure to keep this company in mind should eyeglasses be required. Jonas Paul Eyewear frames are priced US$95 a pair with delivery to Australia available.
