Flora and Henri – beautiful sandals for your little one

With warmer weather fast approaching, the hunt for all things light and ‘summery’ begins. The first items on my list are always cotton dresses and shoes, namely sandals. Enter Flora and Henri, a US based children’s clothier dedicated to providing the masses with exclusive boutique finds. That includes their stunning Italian handmade baby and toddler sandals.

Ask any friend of mine and you’ll know that I’ve been searching for some high quality and comfortable sandals for my daughter in the past weeks. As she broke her foot recently, it quickly dawned on me that a good portion of her shoes were hard soled and they weren’t providing much support for her healing foot. I found this to be concerning as children’s shoes should be the most supportive of all and finding them shouldn’t be difficult. After searching high and low, I did finally come upon the perfect shoes for her and she’s happily galavanting around the house in them as I write this.

Now I’m thinking the Flora and Henri sandals might need to be added to her summer sandal collection. Their sandals all feature the softest of soft leather on the upper and sole, making the shoes breathable and contoured to your child’s foot. The footbed is padded for extra comfort and the soles are pliable to allow free movement.

They tick all of the ‘what kids footwear should feature’ boxes and are destined to become the favourites in your child’s shoe menagerie. And this is the absolute best time for us southern hemisphere inhabitants to buy summer gear from the US as these sandals are all on sale. Prices range from US$63 to US$88 plus postage. So go to the Flora and Henri site and snap them up quick before someone else does!
