First Aid Fun

I really like the idea of first aid kits geared toward children as they are a fantastic way to instill compassion, caring and knowledge of the healing process. I can imagine my own daughter enthusiastically running for her own first aid kit to help bandage a scraped elbow. The award winning Medibuddy is a compact first aid kit, with a colourful take anywhere case containing 40 first aid items. If your child is anything like my daughter, their favourite bit will be the coloured crayon-shaped bandages. She’d go ga-ga over those!

To round out your first aid items, the Boo Boo Buddy is the perfect companion to the Medibuddy. These cute and lovable freezer-friendly cold packs are perfect for all those bumps, bruises, insect bites and stings.

I love that the kits are also decidedly earth and child friendly, being both lead and latex free and containing only 100 per cent recycled plastic. Any child will fall for these  (pardon the pun!) so bandaging up knees and applying first aid cream will become less of a struggle.

The Medibuddy kit comes in four colours of red, blue, green and yellow and cost $12.95 each. The Boo Boo Buddy comes in nine different designs ranging from farm animals and dinosaurs to ballerinas and cost $9.95 each. Both are available to purchase in Australia from All About Baby.
