Find family fun at the Sydney Festival 2012

Roll up! Roll up! The Sydney Festival is starting soon and there’s so much to see and do, you’ll need a plan of attack (thankfully the clever Sydney Festival organisers have that covered with a free app, an interactive online Festival Guide and an online planner!).

The 2012 Sydney Festival runs from January 7-29, 2012 and includes theatre, dance, street performances, visual arts, film and more. There are lots of free events including the exciting Festival First Night and the Ferrython on Sydney Harbour, as well as performances and activities suitable for families.

Here at Babyology, we’re filling our dance card with Holly Throsby Presents See! (check out our previous review of Throsby’s album, See!); the comic genius of The List Operators; and the magical Animagica  in the Spiegeltent, that promises to be a unique film and music experience.

Head to Sydney Festival 2012 for the full program and bookings.

Katrina Whelen

Katrina studied planning and design, did the hard yards working in a big office building and then traded it all in for a relaxing (!) life at home with four children. She now fills her time with writing, completing a degree in genetics and taxiing her children around Melbourne to their various sporting commitments (not necessarily in that order).
