I recently travelled overseas with my young daughter and it was an experience I’ll never forget. Mostly for the lifelong happy memories the two of us were creating but also a tiny bit because of the constant entertainment she required. My downfall was not packing any games that would hold her attention for longer than three seconds. Exhausting lesson learned.
The eco-friendly felt travel games from Etsy seller Evgie would have been the perfect tonic for my daughter and will be for any travelling tot. In the car, on the plane, on a boat or train, the light-as-a-feather and brilliant-for-packing games will have them captivated. Combining an educational influence whilst brimming with fun, the tactile games feature glorious bright colours and impeccable embroidery.
The felt is made of 100 per cent post-consumer recycled plastic bottles (how cool is that!?) and transformed by hand in Canada into the Tic Tac Toe game and Bears Picnic game, both pictured above. Available from Evgie’s Etsy shop, prices are US$30 and US$29 respectively, plus postage. The Mini Art Case pictured below is also a very clever idea – my daughter would go ga-ga over it whether it be for travel or at home.
