When my now husband and I first moved in together, we used to have some spectacular ‘disagreements’ whenever we set foot in a furniture or textile store. The problem wasn’t so much that we had different tastes, it was more that he appeared to be either colour blind or colour careless (such was his desire to team yellow with green).
Perhaps if he’d played with something like the wooden coloured felt blocks by Shakshuka, €22, he would have had the colour thing licked. Each set is comprised of eight wooden blocks with one side covered in coloured felt which helps to teach the important art of matching colours. I also love that it won’t be as loud when it come to stacking (provided it’s on the right side of course!) and knocking down. Well, good luck with that!
