Oh my. Excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the ground. These are the most exquisite dresses for little girls I have ever seen.
Handmade in Western Australia, these dresses are from the beautiful new summer line at Pink and Grey. Just a quick glance will be enough for you to not be surprised when I tell you that the designer, Jean Cooper, has a background in bridal couture, but made the switch to beautiful childrenswear following the birth of her own child.
With their vintage charm and organic credentials, these clothes really are something very special, and honestly, I don’t think I can pick a favourite. The detailing, the colours, everything about them is just right. Pink and Grey also has a range of adorable headbands and clips, bloomers and boleros which make a perfect accent to their collection. After all, there’s no throwing an old jumper over dresses like these.
And now to address the (ruffly and lacy) elephant in the room – the price. Yes, your jaw might have dropped at the prices too. Prices for the dresses begin at $220 and go up to $400. The price reflects that they really are couture dresses for little people. But it doesn’t hurt to dream, and who knows? Perhaps you have to outfit a little flower girl or bridesmaid, or have the kind of special occasion approaching that really does call for a dress like this – a true heirloom.
You can view the whole range and buy directly from Pink and Grey.
