Eon – celebrating New Zealand designers

eon.jpg

Eon
proudly showcases New Zealand design talent in
furniture, home decor and things for children. Founder Angela
Roper believes the things you surround yourself with should be
a reflection of who you are, and it is this combined with the desire to
provide a platform for NZ designers, that has propelled Eon
into existence.

The entire collection is worth attention and the children’s ranges are no exception. The
Elephant Tee from Auckland label
"Richard…son" looks brilliant in black. It also comes in blue and pink.

There’s a neat ceramics range especially for kids featuring ducks,
horses, cows and piggies. I love the two-handled cup – great for
littlies perfecting their grip. All of the designs come in unisex
colours which is handy if your kids don’t care which one they
get at mealtime. If they do, then simply get them to choose an animal
or colour, and there won’t be any squabbles!

Check out the
Bo Mini Moo Boots.
Made from expertly
handled New Zealand hides and skins, tiny toes will be kept toasty all
winter long. Each pair is unique as they are made to show the
individual markings of the animal they are made from. They’re just
fluffy enough on the outside so that my toddler will look like a
small yeti!

Boots are NZ$129, tees are $45 and the ceramics run at $29.90 per piece. Email
Eon regarding shipping.
