It’s quite possible I could throw out the television and replace it with this – the Magimix Vision Toaster. I’m pretty sure my kids would want to stand and watch toast cook all day if this was sitting on the kitchen bench.
Say goodbye to burnt toast once you have the Vision Toaster – one glance and you can see how breakfast is progressing. So when the kids are wailing “When is my toast ready?!”, you can tell them to see for themselves.
The toaster is extra wide and deep so it can fit muffins, crumpets, bagels and the good old white slice, just waiting for the Vegemite. The design has been 15 years in the making as engineers had to discover a way to brown the bread without using traditional metal elements which obscured the view. The solution was to place metal plates behind quartz elements in the corners of the toaster to deflect heat evenly across the bread.
Unfortunately you’ll have to keep the butter knife poised – the Vision Toaster has only just been released in the UK and no word yet as to when it will hit our shores. We’ll keep you toasted.
