Step right up to see the incredible new collection from Eeni Meeni Miini Moh! Inspired by a vintage travelling circus, Eeni Meeni Miini Moh’s collection is sure to pack energy and wonder into kids’ wardrobes.
The Eeni Meeni Miini Moh autumn/winter collection for babies to kids aged all the way to five years takes the art of pattern and texture mixing to the next level. Fabrics like soft cottons, French terry and knits are embellished with screenprints and fluffy pom poms. Long-sleeved shirts for boys and girls are brightly striped and decorated with dancing bears, cats in masks and charming hand-drawn stars.
Skeggings (leggings/skirts) ($50) for girls are printed with multi-coloured harlequin-style repeating diamonds, and are great for layering under the gorgeous, easy to wear tiered ruffle tunics or the eggplant top and tulle skirt ($80). As temperatures drop, the divinely soft French terry jumpers, jodhpur leggings and sweet drop-waist dresses will guard against the biting autumn air.
For boys, there are drop crotch leggings and joggers, as well as cuffed cargo pants with plenty of pockets to collect the things that parents detest: bugs, rocks and handfuls of sand that break the washing machine. There are hardy knitted jumpers ($80) for boys and girls with gorgeous screenprints and contrasting striped cuffs. Layer a jumper under a puffa jacket that converts to a vest, add striped leggings or slouchy pants ($50) and kids will be primed for play.
The E3M collection for kids up to 12 years does a subdued take on the theatrical colour palette of icy blue, eggplant, cranberry and magenta, and the shapes of the garments have grown up just a little. Girls’ leggings have the same stripes in grey and pink, but fit slightly closer to the leg, and look great with the harlequin print knit dress ($80) or a pink long-sleeved sweatshirt dress printed with a rabbit that has a pompom for a tail.
The boys’ E3M collection has gorgeous collared knit jumpers and mixed media shirts with striped sleeves and grey screenprinted bodies. The zip hoodies ($70) are luscious and fleecy on the inside and layer well under the zip-off sleeve puffa jackets ($130).
We’ve saved our favourite for last, and the designers have outdone themselves with the Enfant collection for babies. I’m a sucker for a baby hat with ears, and the Enfant collection has ears aplenty. Every gorgeous jumpsuit ($60) has a matching detachable hood with knotted floppy ears. The hats have contrasting binding that sits close to the face, keeping little bald heads warm and making plump cheeks look even plumper.
The prints are simply lovely: there are stripes, or hand-drawn cross hatching, all in muted wintry colours like eggplant, grey, blue marle, faded teal and pops of magenta. The Enfant collection has onesie sleep suits, leggings and tops, jumpers and the cosiest of cosy sleeping bags ($90).
All three collections have the good things we expect from Eeni Meeni Miini Moh: soft, durable fabric designed for a comfortable fit, and primed for action packed days.
The vintage circus collection is online at Eeni Meeni Miini Moh. With cooler days just around the corner, it’s time to snap up all your favourites before, as if by magic, they disappear!
