Eeni Meeni Miini Moh’s new spring collection for babies and kids proves that when it comes to the font of imagination, the brand’s designers are overflowing with ideas. This season’s inspiration is fiesta, with vibrant neon colours and Mexican-inspired prints.
The only appropriate reaction to the impossibly cute Enfant collection is to have your eyes turn into emoji hearts and to yell “squee!” Ruffles are everywhere on the baby girls’ clothes: on romper bottoms ($54.95), onesie skirts and t-shirt ($29.95) shoulders.
For toddlers and pre-schoolers, Eeni Meeni Miini Moh has brought back its gorgeous, great-quality t-shirts. On the Signature T-shirt ($44.95), one sleeve is striped, the other solid, and the grey marle body is printed with charming hand-drawn cacti. The baby overalls are carried over into the kids’ collection with shorts overalls ($74.95) in colours like teal and dark grey. There are also plenty of surf-style shorts colour blocked or solid.
Girls’ styles come in dresses and skirts for party or play. There’s a pretty peach dress ($89.95) with stars and a tulle skirt overlay, drop-waisted dresses with ruffle skirts and contrasting printed tops. Our favourite girl’s piece though is the overall dress ($79.95) in peppermint with its full skirt and silver heart appliqué on the chest.
The E3M collection has similar colours and patterns to the younger kids’ collections, but applied to more grown-up styles. For girls there are swing t-shirts and classic five-pocket shorts ($64.95), shirt-tail hemmed striped dresses and shorts overalls in dusty lilac ($74.95) and dark grey.
For boys, the t-shirts are robust with taped side seams and a gorgeous weight knit. There are traditional patterns like Breton stripes, solid polos ($49.95), and shirts emblazoned with words like “Long hair? Don’t care.” Or get patriotic with our editor’s fave, the “For we are young and free” design. There are cargo twill shorts in neon green or red, and slouchy sweatpants shorts ($49.95) in indigo.
Eeni Meeni Miini Moh’s colour story this season is literally brilliant. Pops of fluoro green and red are tempered with dusty pink, grey marle, navy and mint green. As always, the jersey fabrics that make up tees and dresses are a divinely soft mix of cotton and elastine so they move well and feel lovely.
