I’ve heard that craft is the new black. If that’s the case then these incredibly cute tutorials break all the rules. They’re full of colour and optimism.
Craft TV is produced by Australian artist, designer and blogger Ebony Bizys, who has adopted the alias Hello Sandwich.
With a generous and creative spirit, Ebony shares her know-how in this series of You Tube clips. The above clip is called Hello Sandwich Craft TV Episode Two. It shows clear and quick instruction for making an adorable confetti bow. Use it to dress gifts, hang on a wall, or simply craft it for craft’s sake. I guarantee this will smack a smile upon some faces.
The tutorial below, Hello Sandwich Craft TV Episode One is a favourite of mine. In less time than you would spend at a supermarket buying wrapping paper, you can whip up your own unique gift bag. Use pretty paper scraps from around the house. Not only will you take home the award for ‘best wrapped gift’ you’re being more sustainable and saving money.
With a penchant for all things Kawaii, her blog Hello Sandwich contains a lot of quirk. It’s here you can follow Ebony’s daily inspiration whilst she lives in Tokyo. You can also purchase some clever craft goods at the Hello Sandwich Big Cartell (Check out the wrapping zine download, $10).
