If you’re in Melbourne and need a school holiday laugh, we have the answer. There’s a handful of comedy acts that my family can’t get enough of and the good Dr Brown and his clever sidekick – a singing tiger that provides the narration for his madcap adventures – is one such act.
It’s Dr Brown Brown Brown Brown Brown and His Singing Tiger… Again! – the tigeriffic duo are back with an all-new show. Fans can rest assured that there will be all sorts of Dr Brown’s signature bizarre adventures and mad mix-ups to enjoy. For those new to this unique comedy team, be prepared for something completely different – live musical narration, good old slapstick, silly noises, physical flights of fancy and enough pineapple for the whole family. Intrigued?!
This is the second collaboration from Dr Brown (Philip Burgers) and his Singing Tiger (Stuart Bowden). Their smash hit Dr Brown Brown Brown Brown Brown and his Singing Tiger – The Kids’ Show won Best Presentation for Children at the 2012 Adelaide Fringe and the Director’s Choice award at the 2012 Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Best Kids’ Show at the Melbourne Fringe Festival.
Dr Brown Brown Brown Brown Brown and His Singing Tiger… Again! is on at the Fairfax Studio, Arts Centre Melbourne, from 31 March – 5 April, 2015. The show runs for 55 minutes and is suitable for children aged four years and over. Tickets are $26 each and can be booked directly through the Arts Centre.
