Don’t waste a moment

One of my vivid memories of growing up in the Seventies was lying in bed listening to the soft whirring click of the numbers flipping over on my bedside clock. Alas, I have long since ‘upgraded’ to digital, but maybe I could relive the comforting sound with this treasure, the Yoshitomo Nara clock.

A work of art in constant motion, the clock features 84 original drawings by renowned Japanese contemporary artist, Yoshitomo Nara. Enjoy Nara’s inspired characters and creatures with each passing minute and hour.

Nara’s work has been heavily influenced by Manga (Japanese comics) and television animation, and his work has been included in numerous international exhibitions and modern art collections. The clock is your chance to enjoy a new mini masterpiece every moment of the day.

Priced at US$299, the Yoshitomo Nara clock is available from My Plastic Heart and can be shipped to Australia.

She now fills her time with writing, completing a degree in genetics and taxiing her children around Melbourne to their various sporting commitments (not necessarily in that order).
