There’s something about cupcakes that goes perfectly with babies. Perhaps it’s because a cupcake is a tiny little cake, and a baby is a tiny little person…
Some people have a weakness for chocolate, or for ice-cream, but for me it’s always been about cake. Fortunately, from baby showers through to christenings, and then every year afterwards at birthday parties, life with kids means plenty of opportunities to eat cake.
Ghermez Cupcakes offers an astounding twenty different flavours of cupcake, on a rotating basis (twelve flavours every day). Some of the mouthwatering options include red velvet, chocolate mud, strawberry, white chocolate, peanut butter chocolate, carrot, lemon, pistachio and rosewater, banana, blueberry, and gluten free orange and almond. Hmmm, they also have a delivery service.
As well as buying any of their ready made cupcakes, if you have an occasion and theme in mind, they will personalise your cupcakes for you. Ghermez Cupcakes has stores in four Sydney locations, one of which is only three minutes drive from my house. This is information which may have been better for me not to know.
Cupcakes are $3.80 each, or $2.20 for mini cupcakes (with discounts for bulk orders), and can be ordered online, or by phone or fax. All details are on their orders page. Delivery is only available within the Sydney metro area.
