As the birthday celebrations continue Play School will feature two great Australian musicians today.
Wipers will be swishing and wheels will be going round at 8am when singer Dan Sultan performs an up tempo version of The Wheels on the Bus.
Then at 5pm former Powderfinger frontman turn soloist Bernard Fanning will sing a song made most famous by The Seekers, Morning Town Ride.
The special appearances are part of a series of mini episodes called Play School Celebrity Covers created to mark the show’s monumental milestone.
Judging by the social media boasting, it’s a dream come true for the stars who took part.
Lived the dream and sang a song on Playschool yesterday for the 50th anniversary celebrations. Episodes with You Am I, Dan Sultan and Missy Higgins coming up in June.
